New Nordic interior design
Whole rods of New Nordic willow for interior design. The rods are available in different shades, with or without bark and in varying color tones. With just a few rods, a room and an interior can achieve an organic and unique ‘look’; Especially in new buildings. The carefully processed rods can with few and simple grips bring history, soul and identity to the architecture.
The willow tree reinvented
The first interior works and on a large scale have been developed at Villerup Hovedgaard, where restoration architect Jesper Back, partner from E + N Architecture has been the chief architect on the use of New Nordic Salix. The work is rewarded in the campaign: The Future Manor – Preservation of the cultural-historical building heritage.
The historical use of willow for ornamental and decorative art has been re-designed and adapted to the simple, Nordic expression within interior design and interior design.
The installation principle for the rods can be adapted to the individual project; the stems can be braided, screwed, stitched, sewn or glued – and the technique used can be advantageously incorporated into the design; the combination of the materials used can also be an attractive feature. LED lights or other lighting also offer new opportunities. We are ready with advice on the possibilities for use in any way you can imagine.
